Section 1
Section 2
Section 3
Section 4
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. His ministry since His advent at Pentecost is to reprove or convict the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment (John 16:8-12); to restrain the progress of evil until God’s purposes are accomplished (2 Thessalonians 2:7); to generate those who repent of their sins and exercise faith ith in Christ (John 3:3-8; Titus 3:5); to instruct, comfort and guide God’s children (John 14:16-18); to sanctify believers for life and service (Romans 8:12; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 3:16; 1 Corinthians 2:1-4; 1 Thessalonians 1:5); to resurrect their mortal bodies (Romans 8:11).
Section 5
Section 6
Section 7
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has left the ordinances to be observed by the local church in commemorating His person and work, and that these are not a means of salvation, but symbolic visible sigs to the realities of salvation. The one is that of baptism (immersion) in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The other is the partaking of the Lord’s supper (Matthew 28:19, 20; Acts 2:41, 46, 47; Acts 16:33; 1 Corinthians 11:23-32) No person is qualified to have a part in either of these two ordinances unless he has been born from above (Acts 2:41, 42).
Section 8
We believe that Satan was once holy, and enjoyed heavenly honor, but due to price and ambition to be as God Almighty, fell and drew after him a host of angels, thus becoming the author of sin; that he is now the prince of the power of the air, the cause of the fall of man, the author of the powers of darkness, the open and declared enemy of God and man; and that he shall be eternally punished in the lake of fire (Isaiah 14:12-15; Ezekiel 28:14-27; Genesis 3:1-6; Matthew 24:31; Ephesians 2:2; Hebrews 2:14; 2 Peter 2:4; Jude 1:6; Revelation 12:9; 20:10).
Section 9
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the saved to eternal life, and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment (Matthew 25:46; John 5:28; 11:25, 26; Revelation 20:5, 6, 13).
Section 10
We believe that the Christian life can only be lived as Christ lives and reigns within the believer (Galatians 2:20; Colossians 1:27, 28), that the Holy Spirit enables the believer to live a victorious life (Romans 8:1-4; Ephesians 3:16), thus fulfilling God’s command (1 Peter 1:15); that the believer is not to be conformed to this world (Romans 12:1, 2; 1 John 2:15), but it is to glorify God in all things (1 Corinthians 10:31; Colossians 3:17), and cooperate with God in becoming conformed to the image of His Son (Romans 8:29; Philippians 2:12, 13) and that the believer, enabled by the Holy Spirit will be a faithful witness of Jesus Christ (Acts 1:8).
Section 11
We believe, according to the Scripture, in the sure return of the Lord Jesus Christ; that this second coming will be a literal, bodily, personal return; that His coming for His bride, the Church, constitute the Blessed Hope set before us, for which we should be expecting. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Titus 2:11-13; Acts 1:11; Revelation 20:1-6).
