- What is certain about the rule of wicked men and those who turn to crooked ways (or are corrupts?
B. Understanding Questions
- Why do you think trusting the Lord makes us “unshakeable?” When someone “unshakeable” — what does this mean?
- The passages encourage us to trust and to pray. Amidst the assurances, the Psalmist inserts a prayer for God to bless those who do good. (v.4) Why do we need to pray for blessings to come to those who do good? Is not trusting in the Lord enough?
C. Application Questions
- Have you ever been in a situation where your spirit would have been crushed, if not for the Lord’s blessings as you trust in Him? What verse(s) in the Bible come to mind that reminded you to trust Him? How did you experience His blessings?
- Can you think of good people in your life that you know are struggling at the moment, or those that come to mind that you simply want to bless? Take the time to sincerely pray for them.
