A. Discovery Questions

1. After Simon Peter had finished eating, what did Jesus ask him?
2. How many times did Jesus ask Simon Peter this question?
3. After Peter answered the first question if he loved Jesus, what was Jesus’ response to Peter? What was Jesus’ response when Peter answered the 2nd time? The 3rd time?

B. Understanding Questions 

1. What did Jesus mean by “Feed my lambs,” “take care of my sheep” and “feed my sheep?” (v. 15-16). Is there any difference between these statements?
2. Why do you think Jesus asked Simon Peter the same question three times?

C. Application Questions

1. If Jesus Christ asked you the same question he asked Simon Peter, how would you respond? What are the things that you can do to show your love for Jesus?
2. Reflect on how you are faring on “feeding His lambs/taking care of His sheep and feeding his sheep.”
3. In what practical ways can you improve yourself when it comes to discipleship and missions?
