“I will earnestly seek God and patiently wait in hope for Him to show me His way.”

A. Discovery Questions

  1. What was the psalmist asking God to do (v.4-5) ?
  2. Why was he asking God for these things (v.2)?
  3. What was the psalmist doing as he was praying to God (v. 5b)?

B. Understanding Questions 

  1. Why do we need to seek and understand God’s ways and His truth?
  2. What does it mean “to wait and hope in the Lord all day long”?

C. Application Questions

  1. What kind of help do you need from God right now? Have you asked him about it?
  2. Think about your current plans for the coming week, month, or year. How can you be sure if they are according to God’s way?
  3. Are you still hopefully waiting on God to answer your petitions and prayers? Why/Why not?
