  1. What kind of kingdom will we receive as described on verse 28?
  2. How should we worship God according to verse 28?
  3. How did verse 29 describe God?

  1. Who was the author of the passage referring to as the recipient of the kingdom? What does it imply when the kingdom was described as unshakable/cannot be shaken?
  2. What does verse 28 mean by “worship God acceptably with reverence and awe”? How do we know if our worship is acceptable?
  3. What does “consuming fire” mean? Why was it used to describe God?

  1. When was the last time you genuinely worshipped the Lord with reverence and awe? What are the different challenges or reasons that prevent you from doing so?
  2. How can you demonstrate your utmost gratitude to God? Discuss in your group the different steps you need to do in order for your worship to be pleasing before the Lord. Pray with each other for God’s guidance, so that his spirit would teach you what to do.
