Discovery Questions

  1. Describe the picture or paint the scenery that Isaiah saw in v. 2
  2. How did Isaiah react to what he saw in v.1-2? How does this manifestation affect Isaiah? (v.3)
  3. How did this woeful encounter with God lead to a wonderful realization for Isaiah? (v. 5).

Understanding Questions 

  1. Why do you think Isaiah responded to God’s question (i.e, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?”) with “Here am I, send me?” (v. 8 )
  2. How important is the awareness of God’s holiness in our daily lives as Christians?
  3. Is reverence for God still evident in Christians in our society today? Why or why not?

Application Questions

  1. How do you approach God in your prayers? What attitude should you display as you relate to God, your Savior?
  2. Have you had an experience of God calling you to do something? How did you respond? Share.
  3. How would you respond to a call from God for a ministry involvement in the church or a call to do missions among people who are obstinate, or who reject the Good News of Jesus Christ?

“Lalapit ako sa kahanga-hanga, banal at dakilang Diyos, ng may paggalang, pagpapakumbaba at may nagsisisi at masunuring puso.”

Pagtuklas

  1. Ilarawan ang nakita ni Isaias sa ikalawang talata.
  2. Ano ang naging tugon ni Isaias sa kanyang nakita? (v.3)
  3. Paano nagbago ang pananaw ni Isaias sa kanyang natunghayan/nakita? (v.5)

Pag-unawa

  1. Si Isaias ay tumugon ng ganito “Narito po ako ;ako ang iyong isugo” ng magtanong ang Diyos. Bakit ganito ang kanyang naging tugon?
  2. Gaano kahalaga ang kamalayan ng Kabanalan ng Diyos sa ating pang araw araw na buhay bilang mga Kristiyano?
  3. Nakikita pa ba sa buhay ng mga Kristiyano ang pagpipitagan sa Diyos sa ating panahon? Ipaliwanag ang sagot.

Pagtugon

  1. Paano ka lumalapit sa Diyos sa iyong panalangin? Anong saloobin ang ating ipapakita sa ating pakikiniig sa Diyos na ating tagapagligtas?
  2. Tinawag ka ba ng Diyos upang maglingkod sa Kanya? Paano ka tumugon?
  3. Paano ka tutugon sa tawag ng Diyos na maglingkod sa Iglesya o sa mga taong sutil at tumatanggi sa Mabuting Balita ni Kristo Jesus?
