  1. With whom was Jesus interacting in the passage, and why?
  2. What was the interaction like?

Understanding Questions 

  1. In verse 58, what did Jesus mean by “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head”?
  2. In verse 60, what did Jesus mean by “Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God”?
  3. In verse 62, what did Jesus mean by “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God?”

Application Questions

  1. Following Jesus may cost us our personal comfort, our obligations to our family, and our personal desires.  What has following Jesus cost you?  Please share with your group.
  2. How can you avoid taking for granted the blessings we have as children of God, becoming indifferent, or having the sense of entitlement?

  1. Sa talata 58, ano ang ibig sabihin ni Jesus sa “Ang mga lobo ay may mga butas at ang mga ibon sa himpapawid ay may mga pugad, ngunit ang Anak ng Tao ay walang makahigaan ng Kanyang ulo”?
  2. Sa talata 60, ano ang ibig sabihin ni Jesus sa “sinabi sa kanya ni Jesus, “Hayaan ang mga patay na ilibing ang kanilang sariling mga patay, ngunit humayo ka at ipahayag ang kaharian ng Diyos”?
