2. In v. 4, why was Abel’s offering to God considered a better sacrifice than that of Cain?

1. In v.3, Cain brought/offered “some of the fruits of the soil,” while in v.4, Abel brought/offered “fat portions from some of the first born of his flock.” What is the difference between offering just “some” from offering “fat portions” to God?
2. Recall things (time, effort, money, etc.) that you offered to God which are just “some” of your time, effort, money, etc.

 PERSONAL APPLICATION

If you feel sorry for having offered just “some”, ask for forgiveness.

Thank God for those that you offered which were from “fat portions…”.

Pray for the next things (time, effort, money, etc.) that you would like to offer to God in faith that are from “fat portions … from the first born” of your flock.
