KBCF 50th Anniversary
Theme: “More Precious Than Gold” (1 Peter 1:7)
A. ELIGIBILITY & MECHANICS
- Open to all preschool, elementary, and high school students enrolled at KKCCS, attending KBCF, or receiving a KOPF scholarship.
- Each participant may register under the correct category and submit only one entry.
- Each poster must be an original work created without outside assistance.
- Entries must be fully handmade – digital art, printed pictures, or ready-made designs are not allowed.
- No names or initials should appear on the poster.
- Attach the official ‘registration form’ to the back of the illustration board (or at the back of the Oslo paper for preschool entries). The form is available at the ushers’ table on Sundays and at the KBCF office from Monday to Saturday.
- All entries belong to KBCF and may be used for display or publication.
- Entries that break the rules, ignore requirements, or show plagiarism will be disqualified.
- All entries should be submitted at the KBCF Office on or before 5:00 PM, Saturday, Oct. 4th.
B. ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS
- Material and Size:
- pre-school: Oslo paper (9″ x 12″)
- elementary: 1/8 Illustration board (10″ x 15″)
- high school: 1/4 Illustration board (15″ x 20″)
- Medium: Any coloring materials are allowed (e.g. crayons, colored pencils, watercolor, markers, oil pastels, pencils, or ballpens. Mixed media is also allowed.
C. JUDGING CRITERIA
- Relevance to Theme – 40%
- Creativity & Originality – 40%
- Visual Impact & Presentation – 20%
D. WINNERS & PRIZES
- Top 3 winners will be chosen per category.
- Certificates and prizes will be awarded.
