  1. In 1 Timothy 3:2, who should have the character traits that Paul enumerated?
  2. What are these traits that Paul listed?

  1.  Why do you think Paul emphasized (“must be”) such high standards for church leaders?
  2. How will these traits help church leaders with what they will be facing that Paul wrote about in 2 Timothy 3?
  3. Do you think the qualities listed in 1 Timothy 3:2 apply only to church leaders?

  1. Among all the qualities Paul listed in 1 Timothy 3:2,which do you think you need to personally improve on?
  2. If you were to single out a quality when praying for our church leaders, which one would it be? Why is this quality important to you?
