Text: Habakkuk 2:2-4
Sermon Series: Living By Faith in Troubled Times
Speaker: Ptr. Ronel Rubrica
Introduction
One of the hardest things we will ever do is… to wait. We don’t like to wait. However, we find ourselves waiting at a lot of places…. The prophet Habakkuk knows this tension. He watches, questions, and wonders, but ultimately, God speaks to Him.
Habakkuk 2:2-4 teaches us a powerful lesson about what it means to wait well and live faithfully. Waiting can be one of the hardest tests and disciplines in the Christian life, but it’s also a crucial time for spiritual growth and strengthening faith.
I. Charge to Precisely Write God’s Revelation
II. Charge to Patiently Wait for the fulfillment of God’s Revelation
III. Charge to Persistently Will to Live By Faith
Conclusion
Faith is the foundation of life for God’s people. No matter what you face — delay, dismay, despair, disappoitment, or darkness, God calls His people to a different way of life — not driven by fear or frustration, but grounded in faith. And let this be your confidence: God always keeps His Word. The vision may wait, but it will not fail. And the righteous — you — shall live by faith.
